A new brand for the PlayStation ecosystem
These are identity proposals and its applications for Playstation’s groundbreaking entry into 'no console gameplay'. The logo leveraged the brand's existing visual language with the iconic PS symbol set inside a stylized version of a play button for use on screen and device packaging. The visual language for imagery emphasized the 'lightness' of the cloud-based service by using the Playstation ‘wave’ as a device to wrap around and ‘create’ iconic characters. This initial proposal led to the PlayStation Now logo as it exists today.
